An open handicap where even Mystic Meg would have trouble finding the winner. However, the shortlist consists of Inwaan, Rainbow Bay, Miswadah and Charlie Delta, and the narrow vote goes to Miswadah. The selection was a bitter disappointment last time out when returned to the turf. She is yet to run a half-decent race on grass but she was starting to look vaguely progressive on the all-weather before that and now returned to the scene of her only triumph, she looks worth chancing today. Although an extra furlong seems to suit best, if she can gain a decent early position she may be hard to peg back. Rainbow Bay bounced back to form with a win last time out at Catterick, a repeat of which would see him go close today. Inwaan is yet to get off the mark but Paul Webber's maiden has a good draw today for her first crack at Lingfield. Charlie Delta is exposed but has been in fair form of late in bad races so gets a mention, however Miswadah is given another chance to get back on the winning trail.
