Verdict

Although CHRISTMAS ARIA finally lost his maiden tag at Southwell, he went close over C&D before that with subsequent winner Social Forum behind. Simon Dow's colt can go on to better things now he's got his head in front. A rise of 11lb for his previous win proved too much for Joe Le Taxi to handle here last time, but he still ran well for a long way and a 7lb claimer takes over the reins here. The latter can reverse latest form with Greenhead High, while Queen O' The Desert is worth a second look on her return to action.
