      Verdict

      Odds-on favourite MONGOOSE ALERT gave Layla's Dancer too much leeway in front and couldn't peg him back off a slow pace here two weeks ago. He should get a more truly-run race in this bigger field and is taken to make amends. Scary Movie usually runs his race and had Orchard Supreme behind when scoring over C&D last month, while Slikback Jack looks ready for this step up in trip and could figure. Superius has been hurdling since winning on the Flat in 2008 and has a chance if still capable of running up to his old mark.
