In depth

Verdict

FYODOR takes a massive step down in class to try to get back on the winning trail and as a result it's hard to look passed him with Mutamared and Desert Dreamer best placed to pick up the minor honours. The pick has been running with limited success in much better races than this lowly grade recently and took a class three contest at Great Leighs three starts ago from which the form is pretty strong. With plenty more success in better races he should have this small field beat. Mutamared scored in a similar standard of event for Kevin Ryan two starts ago and the form from that is pretty strong. The form from his place last time is also very strong and in any other race he'd probably get the nod but with the selection looking even stronger then another place looks the best he can grab here. Desert Dreamer has a pretty solid record around this track that includes four wins and five placings in 20 starts. After some good showings recently he has claims but has much to find on the selection, which is Fyodor.
