Verdict

Gary Moore's runners here always warrant respect and, having come back to form here over two miles last time, Myson has to be respected but Coach Lane has the better form and is preferred with Native Commander rated the best of the remainder. The selection stepped up on the form of his reappearance run when chasing home Island Of Memories over this trip at Uttoxeter last time and, with the yard of Venetia Williams having really hit form since then, he really looks tough to beat. Salinas fell early on when making his return at Fakenham recently and is probably best watched on his first start since then, while Acertack would need to improve considerably on what he showed on his reappearance at Plumpton to trouble the judge. Native Commander should improve on his previous form this term and cannot be discounted but Coach Lane has solid claims and he gets the vote.
