        Verdict

        Let Slip, Shamila and Silken Act are the three to look at here and Let Slip is the one to take this finale. Shamila made late headway over this trip at Kempton last time to be second, but that was the fifth occasion she has finished runner up in seven starts and she can be taken on. Silken Act has been keeping better company than this in recent runs at Windsor and Salisbury and has been taking on some useful opponents. This looks easier and Silken Act can go well. Let Slip won at Kempton in April and has run well in handicaps since without winning, just touched off in a return to the track last time and placed in a Sandown handicap in between. Let Slip can make amends for that narrow defeat last time.
