Verdict

DOUBLE POINT showed he was going the right way when finishing runner-up at Salisbury on his latest start. That looks good enough form to win an ordinary maiden and Paul Cole's colt is preferred to the more exposed Cockney Bob, placed yet again when starting favourite at Kempton during the week. Plucky Dip needs more to figure in this and one of the newcomers could prove a bigger threat. Cotton Club is related to a host of winning sprinters while Cricklewood Green's dam is a half-sister to the high-class Strong Suit.
