CALL TO ARMS sets the standard, represents a yard in form and appeals as banker material; he can get the better of Sheila's Bond and Lingfield Bound. Mark Johnston's gelding should benefit for stepping up to a mile for the first time having previously competed solely over six furlongs in his three races. Placed on each occasion, his rating of 78 looks fully justified and while he wouldn't appear to be one of the stables stronger three-year-olds, he should still take care of this bunch. Sheila's Bond was a couple of lengths behind Lingfield Bound when the pair made their debuts over course and distance just over a week ago but might rate value to reverse that form, as she was slowly away and showed distinct signs of greenness. Contrastingly, Lingfield Bound appeared to know his job and whilst he should also improve for the run perhaps the Stan Moore runner can take second. John Best saddles four runners here with Lingfield Bound looking the pick; Court Drinking needs to leave his sole start behind and the step up in trip may not suit, Eclipsed has been beaten over 60 lengths in two starts and Roar Talent was pulled up last time. Back On doesn't look quite up to his rating of 52 and Givenn drops down five furlongs in trip, so providing he arrives here fit to race Call To Arms should take the opener.
