CAN CAN STAR may still be a step ahead of the assessor and can complete his hat-trick. Count Trevisio and Planetary Motion are two that could give him something to think about. Tony Carroll's runner has gone up by 9lbs for wins by a neck and a nose but he needs to be produced late which makes it harder for the handicapper to get a handle on how much he has in hand. He's in the form of his life and appears ideally suited by this course and distance. Count Trevisio ran his best race since joining his new yard at Wolverhampton last month and he could be a threat to all if building on that performance. Planetary Motion left the form of his previous two runs behind to win his maiden over this course and distance. He moves into handicap company on a reasonable mark on his return from a short break and it would be no surprise to see him go close. Alpes Maritime showed a little more last time but will need to do better again if he's to lower the colours of Can Can Star.
