Control Man can land the finale with ease if jumping round at the expense of Spring Grove and Rustic John. The selection was in winning action on his return to the race track albeit in point to point company. He had previously been a talented performer for the Pipe stable winning eight races from twenty three outings. His form did go by the wayside for a while but in this grade his enthusiam might be reinstalled so is one to stay on the right side of. Sring Grove is another to note in the betting market as he won eight races for Robert Alner in his early career. He has won between the flags this season but has also been exposed in open races too so is one to treat with caution. Rustic John pulled up on his return to the track at Fontwell but has since performed better in a point to point last time out so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Control Man.
