In depth

Verdict

Nemetan is selected in this open contest, with Island Of Memories and Wee Anthony best of the rest. Robert Alner's charge steps back up in trip today after being outpaced last time out over two miles. Daryl Jacob is well worth his claim and the horse holds very solid claims. Island Of Memories would be interesting if putting in a clear round of jumping, whilst the same applies to Andrew Turnell's Silent Gunner. Wee Anthony's mark of 103 looks prohibitive so he must be passed over today, whilst at a price Golden Oak could go well on his chasing debut. This is a competitive affair though and we will tentatively return to Nemetan to land the spoils.
