Lygeton Lad, Teas Gold and Quito look the ones to concentrate on in this rated stakes and we will side with the Ayr Gold Cup winner Quito. The gelding from the David Chapman yard has been running well without winning of late over five furlongs and now that he steps back up in trip, is taken to pick up the winning thread. Texas Gold rates the main danger, as he has been in the form of his life of late and beat Law Breaker in good style last time. Lygeton Lad could also go well despite topweight but his best form is over a longer trip so for that reason he is opposed. Of the remainder, Cretan Gift looks a shadow of his former self, while Trinculo could go well with the capable Lisa Jones taking off a handy three pounds, but we are happy to side with Quito.
