A narrow vote in this handicap goes to Queen Tomyra, with Desperation, Pagan Sword, Jamaaron and Sandy's Legend all given chances against her. The selection proved herself tough by winning a Wolverhampton nursery on her final start last season. There should be better to come this year and, with the step up in trip looking likely to suit, she gets a sporting nomination. With a number of these stepping up in trip having displayed promise, it is hard to be dogmatic in trying to name the winner. In that group you can include Jamaaron, who will be fit from a fair recent Kempton run and makes his all-weather bow today, Chief Dipper, Laconicos, Pagan Sword, who was a real eyecatcher last time, Moonstruck and Cape Enterprise. Desperation probably forms the benchmark to the form and he can be competitive from his current mark in a first-time visor, and given that he has a dirt pedigree, Lunar Sky could yet go well, while Sandy's Legend has proven that he stays and, even though his form is a little hard to fully quantify, he can go well from an in-form yard. With Comeintothespace's two wins having come at Wolverhampton, we return to the selection, which is Queen Tomyra.
