        Verdict

        From a good draw Caprio is the selection ahead of Southwest Star and Jalons Bridewell. The selection was beaten favourite in what was a tactical affair last time. He is twice a winner already this season and this can be win number three. Southwest Star has been campaigned over 6 and 7 furlongs this season. Dropped 3lb for his disappointing effort last time and with a claimer aboard today, he is likely to be in the shake up. Jalons Bridewell has yet to get his head in front but two second placings on his most recent starts indicate his turn is not far away. Of the remainder Maggie Kate makes most appeal but Caprio is the selection.
