made most, ridden out
raced wide close up, ridden and headway 2f out, stayed on to go 2nd well inside final furlong, no chance with winner
keen tracked leaders, ridden over 3f out, weakened over 1f out
tracked winner, ridden 2f out, one pace and lost 2nd well inside final furlong
Two stand out at the weights but there are question marks about both. Storming Bernard is the one to beat if repeating his best form but this normally consistent sort was below par on his Polytrack debut at Kempton last month, while Hidden Passion has never gone further than the 6f she contested at Newmarket last time where she finished fourth. JAKE'S DESTINY has plenty to find with the leading contenders but was an easy winner of a maiden at Wolverhampton last month and today's extra furlong could bring the improvement necessary to land this. Tectonic and Redcar winner Singalat look up against it.
