Despite carrying top weight PLUSH should prove far too good for the likes of Batchworth Blaise and Quality Street. Let's deal with the weight issue first. Basically there shouldn't really be one with just three pounds covering the whole field. That plays into the hands of our selection, who is given a six pounds penalty after back to back wins at Wolverhampton on his last two starts. That will be almost be negated with the booking of conditional jockey Ross Atkinson and that should allow the pick to waltz to three in a row. Batchworth Blaise has been running well on the turf recently in similar company and put in a decent effort last time to finish second of 15 at Sailisbury despite being detached from the field early doors. In the past polytrack has not been his surface but a couple of second places point to some aptitude for the ground and he is in much better form these days. Quality Street steps up to the mile trip for the first time with recent outings here over six furlongs haven¿t been to her liking. There isn't a huge amount in her career stats to suggest she'll stay and that is the big negative this time. Pop Music is your one at a bigger price with some decent all-weather form but Plush seems to have this race in the bag.
