Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

A plating contest in all but name and JOVIAL could send backers home with a smile on their faces. Denis Coakley's runners have been hitting the places with regularity and while it is no certainty that this gelding stays the trip, he is in receipt of a valuable weight-for-age allowance against some very exposed rivals. Rose Aurora is often well backed and a visor replaces the cheekpieces that accompanied her last run around here. Pedasus has ability though frustratingly seems to want to keep it very much to himself. Dansilver has hit the crossbar on a number of occasions of late and this drop in trip will make him vulnerable if they go a pedestrian gallop. Shooting Party has been given a chance by the assessor whilst Wolverhampton specialist, Lunar River, is surprisingly stepped up in trip though David Pinder has gone to the trouble of booking rising star, James Rogers, for the mount.
