Maidford can take an ordinary race that closes the card at Lingfield. Emotive is respected under top weight, while Teide Lady and the lightly raced Princess Danah are others to consider if the market speaks in their favour. Princess Danah is open to plenty of improvement and gets in here off a potentially lenient mark. As a half-sister to the versatile Mandoob, she can be expected to pay her way before too long and it will come as no surprise to see her post a much more polished effort this afternoon. Teide Lady has started to get her act together and also holds each-way claims after a couple of promising efforts in defeat. This is her first visit to Lingfield but she appears to have taken a liking to all weather racing and a bold bid cannot be ruled out. Emotive has gone well for Seb Sanders already this season and the partnership are reunited in a race that lacks strength in depth. However, the son of Pursuit Of Love was held off this mark at Windsor nine days ago and he looks vulnerable giving weight away all around. Therefore, we prefer the claims of Maidford, who has really found her racing shoes this season. The step up in distance is expected to bring about further improvement and, having already won on the Polytrack at Kempton, the daughter of Singspiel has very little to fear on this surface.
