Jonny Ebeneezer is best in on official BHB ratings but has not been running well of late and is passed over in favour of Jools, who gets the vote over Haripur. The selection comes here on the back of wins in similar company at Folkestone over six furlongs and, last time, at Epsom over today's trip of a mile when staying on well to lead inside the final furlong. A reproduction of that should suffice for Philip Mitchell's gelding. Haripur won a classified stakes race over course and distance last time and should again be thereabouts. He rates a bigger danger to the selection than Gold Guest, who offers little hope from recent outings. A market move for Chateau Nicol would be of interest but Jools is the logical choice and gets the vote.
