This is far from the most appealing race of the day and with a number of out-of-form sorts in opposition, SEWN UP rates as a highly tentative pick under the circumstances. Andrew Hollinshead has applied all manner of aids to the four-year-old but it's worth noting that having placed off a mark of 68 over C&D last term, the colt gets the chance to race off a 10lb lower mark on this evening. Ghost Train was running well earlier in the year against modest opposition and a short break could have done him good. Johnny Splash is consistent enough at lowly levels while Victorian Number drops back to six furlongs having raced over further. Major Muscari appears to go well for apprentice handling and the six-year-old makes a return to the Polytrack having placed on a couple of recent outings on turf.
