Verdict

Lethal Blast was completing a hat-trick when landing this a year ago but is still 6lb higher having also won at Windsor in August. Hey Ho Let's Go completed a Polytrack double here last month and pulled too hard on his hat-trick attempt at Chelmsford. PETTOCHSIDE (NAP) gained his 18th career victory at Bath exactly a year ago and, though unsuccessful subsequently, has been racing in much higher class and is 8lb lower. Not beaten far at Epsom and Ascot the last twice he should have too much quality for these. Amnaa hasn't won since December 2020 but is now on the bottom rung and 6lb out of the handicap. Mehmo went up 10lb for scoring at Nottingham in October and is struggling from his new mark.
