      Verdict

      SMOKEY MALONE started favourite here a couple of weeks ago on the back of a narrow defeat at Brighton. He was held up off a slow pace and never got close enough to challenge, finishing behind runner-up Sherpa Trail in the process, but a stronger gallop can see him reverse the form. Torbellino is consistent enough though his two victories have been on the all-weather, a statistic that also applies to Largo Bay, while It's How We Roll is 1-44 with his victory coming in 2019.
