        Verdict

        Big Amigo finished in front of General Gerrard when scoring over a mile at Lingfield last month and has gone close again since. But he’s had plenty of previous attempts at 7f without success. While Garth Rockett won over track and trip in November but failed to cope with a 3lb rise last time. It remains to be seen if Herm copes with a rise in the weights after scoring at Wolverhampton but CRITICAL THINKING was narrowly beaten in this grade at Wolverhampton last month and faced a tougher task last time. Dave Loughnane’s charge gets another chance back at this level.
