Bentley seems more effective over an extra furlong but could still be good enough to take this finale despite a 5lb rise in the weights. Convivial Spirit, Daddy Cool, Halsion Chancer, and Rocker are four apparent dangers. The selection just got up to win last time out over this trip, and with the stable in cracking form, he gets the nod. Halsion Chancer won despite being green over course and distance, however this looks a lot tougher and he would need to improve considerably to take this, although that isn't out of the question. Convivial Spirit only just got up on the line to win over six last time out so the drop in trip might be a hindrance so for that reason he is passed over, whilst Daddy Cool will try to make all from his good draw and could be hard to peg back. Rocker makes his handicap debut today but looks vulnerable off today's mark. A very competitive heat to finish the day, but we will return to Bentley to land the hat-trick.
