A wide open claimer gets proceedings underway and the TEAMtalk selection is Petrus. The gelding from the Clive Brittain yard has been running well in much better races of late and he will be very hard to beat now he takes a significant drop in class. Redswan was a fair third behind Mujkari here a couple of runs ago, but he has since disappointed at Southwell. However, it would be no surprise if he bounced back to form back on his favourite surface. Double Brew was third behind Dolphinelle here last time out but it would be no surprise if he reversed the placings on these revised terms. Dunedin Rascal is also worthy of consideration having showed he was coming back to form when second behind Another Glimpse here last time out. Cast Iron is well weighted on his best form but he has shown precious little of late. Of the remainder Zeitlos is from a yard in form and is worth a cautionary look in the market.
