In depth

Verdict

Devizes won a lower grade contest when sent off favourite at Kempton but Rock Chant scored in this grade at Chelmsford back in April. Most of the others step up in trip including Captain Kane and the 1m4f winners Bit Harsh and Golden Keeper. But lurking at the bottom of the handicap is another 1m4f winner in ARCADIAN FRIEND, who represents Sir Mark Prescott’s yard and looks the most likely to improve for this greater test of stamina.
