Kingsgate Prince can complete a four-timer at the expense of Dingaan, Campbeltown and Secret Night, with Humungous not to be ruled out completely. There is plenty of prizemoney on offer for this Listed event, and on recent evidence Kingsgate Prince deserves a stab. John Best's charge has yet to meet defeat in three outings here this year, and as he has had only six career outings, there is surely more to come from a colt that appears to possess a combination of high-cruising speed and the ability to quicken. Adept at both six and seven furlongs, he should run another big race. Dingaan is also unbeaten since the turn of the year and is another on the upgrade. His wins do not look as impressive as those of the selection so he has to find another level, but he too has more to give. Campbeltown mixed it with good company as a juvenile but it remains to be seen whether he has trained on. If he has, a place at least beckons. Humungous has form over the course-and-distance and Charlie Egerton has the knack of producing them fit after an absence, while Secret Night, who did well to finish second against older opponents last time, should get seven furlongs on breeding. All in all, this has the makings of a fairly competitive renewal, with Kingsgate Prince taken to make it four out of four.
