Norwegian, Keeper's Knight and Ground Patrol look the three to concentrate on here, with the first named getting the nod. David Loder's well bred colt only won a class E event at Southwell last time, but he did beat a well regarded Newmarket raider and the pair were well clear of the rest. It is his first venture into handicap company and he looks on a fair mark, especially as there should be plenty of improvement expected. Keeper's Knight is at the top of his game and followed his course victory with a brave effort when going down by just half a length to Ivory Coast, form that puts him right in the mix today. Ground Patrol is also in good heart having chased home some decent types in a maiden here at the end of last month. Of the others Crackleando is starting to find his feet, but Norwegian could be the most progressive here and he gets the call.
