George Guru is getting no relief from the handicapper but he looks in need of it and hasn't won since a victory over C&D back in March. He beat AXIOM a head on that occasion but off an 11lb lower mark today the latter can reverse running and reprise his stable's win in this race last year. Solar Deity scored over 7f at Wolverhampton last month and still has something to prove over this longer trip but hold-up horse, Chapter And Verse, has decent claims if the gaps open for him. Storm King is another who looks in the grip of the handicapper, though the three-year-old is still open to further improvement.
