Young Bertie is given the nomination ahead of Duke Of Milan and Keyaki. Hughie Morrison's stable are in reasonable nick at the moment and although Young Bertie has to reverse form with Duke Of Milan, the weight terms are conducive to it as Travis Block will take a valuable 5lb off our selection. The fact that there was money for the horse in that previous contest is encouraging as Morrison's yard are not noted as being particularly partial to a tilt at the ring. That said, Duke Of Milan was a ready winner on the day and is unpenalised from a handicap perspective. Keyaki posted a shock when going in at 25/1 and has to be respected in the light of that performance and the relative easy time of it by the handicapper as a consequence. Hello Man looks the best of Eamon Tyrrell's team to be heading to the track. A winner of a Wolverhampton maiden, that form took a slight knock on Saturday night as the third was well beaten in a weak contest. Look Of Eagles appears more suited to Southwell and could be opposed. Lil Najma is unexposed and Clive Brittain's filly is open to improvement. Young Bertie secures the nod.
