A couple of these stand out on their return to action. PAINLESS POTTER was aimed high last summer and managed a respectable fifth in the Coventry at Ascot. Rated 91, he looks the one to beat having been gelded subsequently and is preferred to Alpha King. The latter failed to land the odds over a mile at Newcastle on his debut in September and the Gosden charge has also been gelded since. Marjoram makes his reappearance having switched yards and Dubai Emperor will likely improve while Insomnia is a newcomer to note as a half-brother to a Group 2 winner
