Verdict
Homme D'un Soir made an impressive bumper debut at Gowran but has disappointed so far over hurdles, though possibly hasn't stayed 2m4f on heavy going the last twice. PONT DU GARD was placed at Compiegne in November 2019 and was having his first subsequent start when making the odds-on Egality Mans pull out the stops at Navan last month. He had General Moriviere well beaten in fourth and can go one better. Adnap is penalised for two victories at Dundalk but should be better for his hurdling debut at Fairyhouse earlier this month. The four-year-old Gallaside won three times on the Flat in the UK but could just need a confidence booster after falling on his hurdling bow at Gowran.
