Verdict

Crimson Flame gets the vote here with Special Moment and Mighty Kitchener rating the main dangers. The selection showed a fair bit of ability in better races on the turf and with the Mick Channon yard in top form she looks the one to be on in the hope that she acts on the surface. Special Moment rates the main danger on his latest fourth behind Motereux but he may just need the run after a 174 day absence. Of the remainder Mighty Kitchener was a fair fourth behind Samurai Jack last time and is another that could well but he has given the impression he would be suited by a longer trip and for that reason is opposed. The remainder have shown very little and are readily opposed and for the winner we return to Crimson Flame.
