HAWKSPRING is a confident choice to land this handicap and we will side with him to beat Svindal and Dream Huntress. The selection won well last time when he beat Yellow River and he shaped that day as though he was one to stay on the right side of. Svindal looks the most obvious danger, but he has had a few chances now and he does have a habit of finding the one too good. Dream Huntress beat our selection last time but she is not the most consistent and this trip looks more of a plus for Hawkspring. Nicky Nutjob shaped promisingly at Great Leighs last time and this colt remains relatively unexposed. He can go well at a price, but in terms of the winner we prefer the claims of Hawkspring.
