Peter Chapple-Hyam's newcomer BOMBER BROWN is given the vote over Longboat Key and Badge of Honour. There is not much public form to go on here but this 3-year-old colt catches the eye on breeding. The yard have a good strike-rate with their 3-year-olds and if the market speaks in his favour then it could pay to take the hint. Longboat Key does at least have the benefit of racecourse experience and he improved on his debut run to chase home Calaloo at Bath last time. He should be the one to profit if the selection fails to fire. Badge Of Honour was a little disappointing on his debut at Southwell when he finished down the field in a race won by Trueblue Wizard. Strong Storm was well beaten on his debut, but that was quite a hot Newmarket maiden and he may be capable of better in this company. A tough race for punters to fathom and the narrow vote is given to Bomber Brown.
