      Verdict

MICK DUGGAN has been off the track for over a year but made a winning reappearance last season when scoring over track and trip. He followed that with another course and distance victory off today's mark and gets the nod. Maison Brillet won over 1m4f at Kempton back in March but has something to prove over 2m, as does Celestial Bay, and Cotillion is preferred after a close-up fourth over today's distance at Kempton a week ago. Scrafton also stays the trip and makes more appeal than the inconsistent Todd, a winner on the all-weather in between a couple of poor efforts.
