Castle Talbot was in fine form last month but was just held at Brighton on his latest run and may not have much more improvement. Knight Of The Air remains too high in the handicap, as does Hawk Moth, and though The Happy Hammer is well-handicapped on his all-weather form, he’s not the same horse on turf. PYLA was narrowly beaten at Yarmouth in a similar race, before struggling when upped in grade last time. She has shown a liking for the Lingfield turf course and now that she’s back at her level she can prevail. Serial maiden Arctic Flower didn’t do badly over course and distance last time and can make the frame again.
