MAISON BRILLET was well backed to return to form over 1m4f here last time and duly did so with a defeat of El Libertador. He remains on a decent mark compared to his best and may go in again. Comedy House keeps threatening to get his head back in front and a 7lb claimer helps his cause today while Maslak scored on the Fibresand at Southwell last Sunday and is equally effective on this surface. Langham Lily won at Wolverhampton before a disappointing effort at Kempton and it's too soon to write her off.
