There seems more quantity than quality here, but from a shortlist of THE CAYTERERS, Blue Charm and Surwaki, we'll side with the first named. Tony Carroll landed a nice touch at Doncaster on Friday, and will be hopeful that his top weight here can reproduce the form that saw him win at Great Leighs recently and be runner up here last time out. He's been tried over a variety of trips, but the yard clearly feel a step back up to 7 furlongs will be beneficial. Blue Charm defied top weight to win at Southwell last time out, for only his second success in two years. He's usually involved before finding one or two too good. The low draw doesn't aid his cause here. Surwaki's a front runner, who's only once been placed on the all-weather in six runs. The weights and draw are in his favour today, so he could be about to break his duck on the polytrack. For many this race may only command a watching brief, but we think the most likely winner is The Cayterers.
