        Verdict

        ANISOPTERA improves for each step up in distance. She came good over today’s trip at Kempton on only her second outing in a handicap and can go in again with an apprentice’s allowance reducing a 6lb rise. King Athelstan has won over 1m4f here but has yet to race over this far while Alchimista placed over 1m6f last time though never troubled the winner. The latter makes more appeal than stablemate Ballydoyle while Arietta placed over 2m at Wolverhampton earlier and is preferred to the returning Bravantina.
