The consistent Idle Power is fancied to gain some compensation for some near misses, while Blue Tomato and Adantino are others that are respected and can make this a good test for the top weight. Adantino has been a grand servant to Rod Milman's yard and continues to race with enthusiasm. His wins to runs ratio is just less than one-in-ten, so a bold bid can be expected from this sprinting stalwart. Blue Tomato has thrived in recent weeks and has made the most of a lenient mark. He is still well treated on old form and is capable of at least getting up for a place in spite of being set to carry 5lb extra. Attention also has to be drawn to the first time visor for Banjo Patterson, as he is not without a chance when the best last season's efforts are considered. Support in the betting ring will be noteworthy where he is concerned. However, Idle Power has done very little wrong in defeat of late and fully deserves a change of fortune. Amir Quinn gets on well with the gelding and his 3lb claim is another plus beside the name of Idle Power when everything is taken into consideration
