A wide open maiden gets proceedings underway. Strength 'n' Honour is a half brother to When In Rome and he showed enough in his two runs last season to suggest he can win a race of this nature. His best effort came at Haydock when fourth to Red Chief in similar grade. The colt by Hernando is sure to have strengthened up during the winter and he will be hard to beat. Opera Knight rates the main danger he showed a modicum of ability in similar contests over a shorter trip last season, the step up to 12 furlongs is sure to suit this colt by In The Wings and should go well if he acts on this surface. Far Storm is from the Andrew Balding yard which is in top form but he may be seen to better effect once handicapped. Value Added has at least got experience of this surface but he needs to improve on his latest effort behind Complete Circle at Wolverhampton to score. Of the newcomers MysterLover is from a yard that does well here and this colt by Night Shift is worth a cautionary look in the market.
