Verdict
This looks quite competitive with Ken Scott, Maragliano, High Tower, Houseparty, Saorsie and Crunchy holding chances and the vote going to Ken Scott. The selection is a lightly raced French import but won well on his Huntingdon debut. Respectable efforts since give him the look of being seriously competitive at this level. High Tower showed promise at Warwick on his first run in this country after winning a hurdle in Ireland. He's at the right end of the handicap and looks set to go well. Maragliano looks set to go well from what looks a reasonable mark now, while Crunchy has place claims on the best of his form. Flat winner Houseparty is better than he has so far shown while The Indispensable is interesting from Jonjo O'Neill's stable, although you'll have to forgive a poor effort last time. Executive Decision is not far off a winning mark and Zaffre Noir looked good two years ago but has been lightly raced since. Aka International will strip fitter for a recent run and is another that is not too far off a winning mark. Quite a competitive affair but we'll side with Ken Scott.
