SALIENT is having his 134th career start but his spirit remains undiminished and he found only Tempuran too good in this grade at Kempton last month. He is even more effective on this track and it will be a surprise if Mike Attwater's veteran is not in the firing line. A drop in distance and a faster surface would have to be worry for supporters of Redcar runner up Smile That Smile but Athenian Garden was third over track and trip last month, despite suffering problem at the start and in the race itself, and can reverse that form with second Daring Indian. Lady Lunchalot has fallen to a very attractive mark and should also feature, despite top weight.
