Verdict

Nicky Henderson completed a hat trick in this from 2009 to 2011 and has Lough Kent engaged here. A very easy winner over this trip at Warwick in May, he turned out two days later over an extra half mile at Worcester and only faded from the last. La Vaticane won four times in France and made a very encouraging debut for David Pipe over hurdles at Kempton. Chasing will be her game and she could be a blot on the handicap. PEARLS LEGEND is race fit having reappeared with a cracking effort over slightly further than this at Ascot where he only gave best at the last. He ended the last campaign in the form of his life and Jamie Moore can steer him home. Minella Present makes his handicap debut over fences and is on a reasonable mark though needs to step up while Le Bacardy is looking a bit high in the weights judged on his reappearance at Aintree. With his yard in good form, The Clock Leary can make his presence felt as he wasn't at his best on his final start at Newbury last year after making a successful chasing debut at Ascot.
