Another good chance for Frankie to extend his lead in the jockeys title race here aboard Nautical, who gets the vote ahead of Fantasy Crusader and Pepper Road. Tony Carroll's gelding was successful at Wolverhampton six days ago, comfortably beating today's rival Ziet d'Alsace. The runner-up has a nice weight pull, but our selection won with plenty to spare and is taken to confirm the form. Fantasy Crusader ran no sort of race in that Wolverhampton contest and is much better judged on his previous course victory over the ten furlong trip. Pepper Road meanwhile, makes the long journey down from North Yorkshire and has to be respected on the pick of his turf form. If he handles this surface he will be a danger to all. Recent course winner Ryan's Bliss is another to consider for the places, but Nautical is in such good heart and he is a confident choice.
