Another tricky maiden event, King's Majesty and Mel's Moment have the benefit of racecourse experience and have to be considered, but we will take a chance on the newcomer Bodhi Tree. John Gosden's filly runs in the colours of Maktoum Al Maktoum and is superbly bred by Southern Halo out of a Zilzal mare. She is related to a top German miler so this seven furlongs for her first run is almost ideal. King's Majesty hails from the Sir Michael Stoute yard and was given a very quiet introduction in a decent Newmarket maiden, he is certain to come on for that effort and rates a major threat. Mel's Moment is trained by Amanda Perrett who has been landing the odd juvenile event, and this son of Storm Creek ran a blinder last time to finish a close up sixth in a hot Newmarket event. So once again the market will provide vital clues, but Bodhi Tree looks the part on paper and gets the vote.
