        Verdict

        ELPIDA came up against the progressive Ragged Robin last time but had finished ahead of the re-opposing Bella Varenna and Elegant Ophelia when third at Kempton before that. Less exposed than most of these, she gets the nod. Elegant Ophelia has since finished runner-up at Kempton when just ahead of Atalanta Bay with Tilstarr further back. Saturation Point went close last time but steps up in distance and class for this and handicap debutante Social Riser makes more appeal.
