        Verdict

        Midlander has had his chances and doesn't appear to be improving. Doctor Kehoe finished tailed off over this trip at Windsor in June and Richard Fahey may have a better chance with his two newcomers. Gabrial The Tiger is related to a winning sprinter but Tony Hamilton prefers CHARACTER ONESIE, who is by Dark Angel out of a Pivotal mare. He has a high draw but this isn't a great contest and it may not as much of a disadvantage as it might have been. Tortilla Jackson, another speedily-bred debutant, has stall one and could play a big part if grabbing the rail.
