New Rich was slowly away and then met trouble in-running when just failing to overhaul Half Way over an extra furlong at Leicester 12 days ago. He'll be fancied to gain compensation here but is poorly drawn and the drop in distance might not have done him any favours either. Seek The Fair Land would have a chance at the weights but is another drawn low and Richard Hughes' mount Bubbly Bailey will also start in the centre of the track. Named Asset has yet to show much for Martin Bosley but was third over this trip at Ayr last year. BOLD MAX is probably worth another try on Turf over this trip having been in good form on the all-weather this year - he gets a tentative vote.
